Sustainable, capable, Able

Able embodies design philosophy in form. Created under the creative leadership of designer Johan Lindau and collaborating with Stefan Borselius and Thomas Bernstrand, Able challenges convention by embracing constraints. It doesn't escape the "box"—it redefines it.

In a design culture overwhelmed by trend-driven repetition, Able turns inward. It answers the complex questions of modern design—sustainability, durability, versatility, and serviceability—without compromising form or function. Able proves that originality doesn't always require rebellion. Sometimes, it requires constraint.

The collection brings architectural clarity and a sustainable future to commercial interiors. Its exposed steel frame, clean lines, and use of natural materials—solid wood, leather, or canvas—create a sophisticated aesthetic. The intention behind the design is to be both beautiful and completely transparent. Its true innovation lies in its circular design and complete recyclability—every component is designed for disassembly, repair, and reuse. Rather than following trends, Able redefines originality by embracing the constraints of environmental regulations and industry standards. It proves that thinking inside the box—within real-world limits—can produce a design that is timeless, adaptable, forward-thinking, and deeply responsible.

To us, Able is more than a chair; it redefines the concept of an armchair.
